Job summary

Mozilla Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, Core Services to drive recurring planning, reporting, and analysis for the Core Services portfolio. You’ll forecast, reconcile actuals, track headcount and vendors, and prepare reporting for budget owners and the COO.

You’ll partner with Accounting through monthly close and help translate variances for leadership decisions. The role emphasizes improving processes with AI/automation, maintaining accuracy across a broad portfolio, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years FP&A with budget, forecast, close, and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-finance audiences.
• Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills with audit-friendly formulas.
• Experience with enterprise planning tools and BI/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Core Services forecast each cycle and load cost center detail in Pigment.
• Assemble monthly budget updates and highlight drivers and variances for COO.
• Partner with Accounting through monthly close and resolve coding/timing issues.
• Maintain headcount tracking and vendor spend across the portfolio.
• Develop AI/automation to streamline recurring finance processes.
