Job summary

Mozilla Corporation is seeking a detail-focused Senior Financial Analyst for Core Services to drive planning, reporting, and analysis across the portfolio. You will forecast, reconcile actuals, and manage headcount and vendor tracking to deliver insights for budget owners and the COO.

You will translate variances for a non-finance audience, improve recurring processes with automation, and collaborate across Legal, People, Data Science, Trust & Safety, Strategy and IT to support the company’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A with full budget/forecast cycle including close and variance analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience with planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive) and ERP (NetSuite).
• Strong grounding in accruals and the monthly close cycle.
• Interest in applying AI and automation to finance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle.
• Assemble the monthly budget update for budget owners and the COO.
• Partner with Accounting through monthly close; tie out actuals and forecast.
• Maintain headcount tracking and coordinate with People on start dates and backfills.
• Track vendor and cloud spend; review cloud cost reporting for anomalies.
• Apply AI and automation to recurring finance work and improve processes.
• Support Core Services teams with data and reporting questions.
