Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Financial Analyst – FP&A for a contingency role in Abbott Park, IL. The analyst will deliver financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights to the CIO’s BTS organization.

Responsibilities include managing the monthly close, building reports, and partnering with business leaders to drive decisions. A strong FP&A and technical skillset is required for success in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 6+ years of FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide FP&A support for BTS within CIO, including Cybersecurity and Nutrition areas.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, headcount analysis, capital planning, and expense control.
• Lead monthly close with journal entries, analysis, and system-wide reviews.
• Analyze performance and report actuals vs budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports, executive presentations, and packages.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide insights and support strategic decisions.
• Support quarterly LBE forecasting cycles and ongoing planning processes.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as needed.
