Job summary

Beast Industries in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the business. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate financial data into actionable recommendations in a fast-moving CPG environment.

The role reports to the Sr. Finance Manager and requires strong analytics, attention to detail, and the ability to build KPI dashboards and financial models for new product launches and pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably FP&A in CPG.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, formulas and macros.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and CPG financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning activities.
• Develop customer-specific forecasts including trade spend and pricing.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses and management reporting.
• Create KPI dashboards and financial reporting for leadership decisions.
• Build financial models for product launches, pricing, profitability, and business cases.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to evaluate initiatives.
• Analyze promotional effectiveness, product portfolio performance, and cost savings.
• Improve reporting processes and analytics using existing platforms and AI tools.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and support executive-level presentations.
