Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team to support financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business decision-making across the organization.

The role involves analyzing financial data, building models, and partnering with stakeholders to drive insights and performance improvements. Candidates should have a strong accounting/finance foundation, excellent Excel skills, and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related finance function.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L analysis, and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets and financial modeling.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP or financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances to identify key drivers of business performance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare financial models, reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Perform P&L analysis and investigate variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Review financial data and develop insights to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
• Work with large datasets using Excel and other financial tools.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
