Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in the United States seeks an experienced sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require working some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

The candidate will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time deliveries. Strong English communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline or equivalent
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales, or completion of Sysco Sales Internship
• Bi-Lingual is preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Present product information and train customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and company meetings as needed.
• Manage deliveries and coordinate with transportation for routing and inventory issues.
• Assist with training of new employees and participate in district meetings.
