Job summary

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is seeking a Food Sourcing Manager to lead day-to-day strategic food acquisition efforts under the Director of Food Sourcing. You will cultivate relationships with grocery retailers, manufacturers, Feeding America, USDA programs, and other partners to expand donated food across five-county service areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in food sourcing, donor relationships, or related areas.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships and negotiating agreements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn ERP, donor management, and inventory systems.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and willingness to travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of strategic sourcing plans and lead implementation of approved strategies.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new food acquisition opportunities with partners.
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities to maximize donations and improve efficiency.
• Develop, cultivate, and maintain major donor relationships and partnerships.
• Oversee food sourcing activities through Feeding America, USDA programs, and other networks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing with demand and program needs.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement in sourcing performance.
