Job summary

Baltimore County Government is seeking a Public Health Program Manager to lead the Food Security initiative within the Bureau of Community Health Services. You will coordinate multi-agency efforts, plan and evaluate programs, and develop educational activities for high-risk communities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in public health/health education/social science and at least four years of relevant experience in coordinating large multi-agency groups.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in public health, health education or social science.
• Plus at least four years' experience providing human services, convening, coordinating, planning and implementing large multi-agency workgroups, coalitions and/or councils.
• Additional substitutions allowed for education and experience as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Develops, administers and convenes collaborative initiatives to enhance food access for high-risk communities through education and resource development.
• Provide programmatic support for Food Security Council initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate programs with County, State and community resources and prepare reports and grant proposals.
• Oversee budget, performance measures, and compliance with regulations.
• Represent the Council at meetings and community engagement events and supervise staff.
