Job summary

Baltimore County Government is seeking a Senior Coordination Manager for Public Safety and Accountability in the Administrative Office. This role provides board management and serves as liaison between the PAB, ACC, and the Baltimore County Police Department, handling policy development, oversight and public communication.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in public policy, public management, political communication or a related field.
• Five to seven years of professional experience, or equivalent education/experience combining.
• Master’s degree in public policy, public administration or criminal justice or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and administers operational processes for PAB, ACC, and other boards.
• Coordinates training for PAB and ACC members and tracks outcomes.
• Serves as primary liaison between the Board, public, and Police Department.
• Manages board minutes, agendas, and records; supports annual reporting.
• Assists with budget management and records retention; handles MPIA requests.
• Arranges meetings, posts public notices, and responds to public inquiries.
