Job summary

Manna in Prince George’s County is seeking a Manager of County Operations to lead day-to-day food pantry operations, coordinate multi-site activities, and help design an expanded service model including TEFAP and a Choice Market.

The role requires strong supervisory skills and nonprofit program experience, with on-site work in Silver Spring, MD, and a roadmap to expand services by 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit program management or community service delivery.
• Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of TEFAP, food bank operations, and pantry models.
• Strong written and verbal communication with partners.
• Ability to learn data reporting and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food pantry operations across three Prince George’s County sites.
• Coordinate communications between county staff, service centers, and Manna teams.
• Lead the rollout of the Choice Market in Landover and monitor capacity for 50 daily after March 2027.
• Coordinate TEFAP resources, forecast needs, manage inventories and compliance.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, provide training, ensure safety and service standards.
• Maintain program data, reporting, and compliance with policies.
