Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years procurement experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience purchasing food ingredients, packaging materials, or manufacturing supplies.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and data analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase ingredients, packaging materials, and indirect supplies.
• Negotiate delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory and forecast purchasing needs.
• Develop cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
• Ensure materials meet food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain purchasing records in the ERP system.
• Support cross-functional teams to keep production running.
