Job summary

Wurth Industry US is seeking a senior Fleet Manager to lead the development, implementation and governance of a standardized fleet program. You will oversee vehicle lifecycle management from acquisition to disposal and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, HR, Safety, Finance, Procurement and IT to ensure alignment with corporate policies.

Responsibilities include deploying telematics and reporting systems, negotiating with providers, managing the fleet budget and driving cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in fleet management, transportation, logistics or related program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle lifecycle management, transportation processes, vendor management and supply chain practices.
• Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, data analytics, budgeting, procurement and performance reporting preferred.
• Exceptional project management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a standardized fleet program including policies and controls for safe and cost-effective vehicle utilization.
• Coordinate vehicle lifecycle management: specifications, acquisition, assignment, maintenance, replacement and disposal.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, HR, Safety, Finance, Procurement and IT to align fleet decisions across the organization.
• Identify, implement and maintain fleet management, telematics and reporting systems to improve automation and data quality.
• Negotiate with vehicle, maintenance, fuel, telematics and service providers to support a consistent fleet program.
• Develop and manage the fleet budget, forecast costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety.
• Monitor maintenance, downtime, fuel usage and operating costs; implement corrective actions.
• Develop driver onboarding, training and qualification processes for safe driving and compliance.
• Support sustainability initiatives including fuel efficiency and vehicle electrification.
