Job summary

Wurth Industry North America is seeking a seasoned Fleet Manager to develop and implement a standardized fleet program across the organization. You will oversee vehicle lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, establish standards, and drive cost-efficient practices while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will partner with Compliance, Legal, HR, Safety, Finance and IT to align decisions, manage telematics and reporting systems, build dashboards, monitor costs, and lead sustainability initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field, or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in fleet management, transportation, logistics or related program management.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle lifecycle management, transportation processes, vendor management and supply chain practices.
• Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, data analytics, budgeting, procurement and performance reporting preferred.
• Exceptional project management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
• Maternity/Paternal leave after 1 year of service

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a standardized fleet program with policies and controls.
• Coordinate vehicle lifecycle management from acquisition to disposal.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, HR, Safety, Finance and IT to align fleet decisions.
• Identify, implement and maintain telematics and reporting systems.
• Develop and manage the fleet budget and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop driver onboarding and training processes.
• Support sustainability initiatives like fuel efficiency and electrification.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and management updates for fleet performance.
