Job summary

WM is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee a fleet of 35–45 units in Elizabeth, PA, with 4–5 direct reports. You will manage maintenance, compliance, budgeting, and asset utilization to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

The role emphasizes profitability through planning, vendor relations, lifecycle planning, and downtime reduction while developing staff and promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years previous fleet experience.
• Valid driver's license on hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable vehicles meet operational requirements.
• Manage maintenance managers for cost and performance.
• Review and approve capital equipment requisitions per guidelines.
• Oversee asset utilization and vehicle management systems.
• Ensure maintenance shops are staffed and staff trained.
• Drive WM's safety and compliance standards across the fleet.
