Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Fleet Manager to design and run a best-in-class fleet operation. You will own planning, performance, and scalable processes across our equipment and vehicle assets, partnering with Operations, Finance, branch leadership, and vendors to ensure the right asset, in the right place, at the right time and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience leading fleet planning and operations to optimize utilization.
• Ability to design scalable processes and data-driven insights for asset management.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including operations and finance.
• Knowledge of fleet economics, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership.
• Experience with procurement and vendor management for fleet assets.

Responsibilities

• Build and standardize fleet processes across locations with scalable systems.
• Develop short- and long-term fleet plans aligned with growth and utilization.
• Create dashboards and reporting to track fleet performance and costs.
• Lead procurement, pricing, and vendor negotiations for equipment and vehicles.
• Manage asset lifecycles from acquisition to disposal and maximize resale value.
• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, licensing, registrations, and records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local fleet regulations and drive continuous improvement.
