Job summary

Hendrick Automotive Group is looking for a Transportation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the transportation fleet in Charlotte, North Carolina. You’ll be responsible for the efficient movement of goods, compliance with safety standards, and management of CDL drivers. The role requires expertise in logistics coordination and fleet management.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. This position cannot be performed remotely.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain.
• Valid Class A CDL and must obtain Real ID identification.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.

• Oversee daily maintenance and inspections for vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor driver qualifications and performance while ensuring compliance.
