Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 4–6+ years in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience with CDL drivers and heavy equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in transportation management software and logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and asset management across tractors, trailers, and forklifts.
• Monitor driver qualifications, training, and performance; ensure safety regulations.
• Develop and optimize daily/weekly routes to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Inspect loads for compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Lead drivers, loaders, and maintenance staff; coordinate with partners.
• Prepare and manage transportation budgets; implement cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain logs of maintenance, hours, cargo, and activities; troubleshoot issues.
