Job summary

PCG is seeking a Fleet & Transportation Manager for our Lenexa, KS operations. You will direct and manage the fleet program, including procurement, repair, fuel, maintenance, and disposition of all vehicles and equipment.

The role partners with senior leadership and branch managers to ensure safety, compliance, and cost efficiency across the fleet. You will lead a 4–6 person team, oversee telematics, vendor relations, and lifecycle cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in logistics, transportation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a fleet team of 4–6 members.
• Develop fleet goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
• Provide leadership input on fleet policies, performance, compliance, and safety.
• Administer vehicle replacement to optimize lifecycle and reliability.
• Manage fuel programs to monitor usage and cost.
• Develop environmental initiatives, incl. alternative fuels evaluation.
• Oversee maintenance programs and track vehicle history.
• Ensure DOT compliance and maintain policy manuals.
• Conduct audits and provide training as needed.
• Ensure hazardous materials handling and storage compliance.
• Recommend vehicle selection using lifecycle cost analyses.
• Administer accident management programs.
• Develop telematics systems and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with branch managers on freight and logistics solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
