Action Resources is seeking a Fleet Leader to steer the growth and profitability of our driver fleet. The role emphasizes safety, service, revenue, assets, and cost management across markets, with responsibility for recruiting, coaching, and performance of drivers.

You will coordinate terminal activities, work with customers, and partner with the sales team to identify new business opportunities while upholding EHSS policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in transportation preferred.
• 1-3 years’ fleet leader experience.
• Experience in transportation field preferred.
• Familiar with Transportation Management Software (e.g., TMW, McLeod).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee growth and development of the driver fleet to ensure profitability.
• Lead recruiting and hiring of drivers and manage their performance.
• Coordinate daily terminal activities and dispatch objectives.
• Collaborate with sales and support new business opportunities.
• Maintain focus on safety, service, revenue, assets and costs.
• Act as liaison with customers and resolve issues.
