Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure seeks a Fleet Manager to lead procurement, scheduling and asset management of equipment across multiple sites. The role supports project teams, develops policies, and ensures fleet health with data-driven insights.

The position requires 5+ years of experience, supervisory capability, and travel up to 50%. Flexible location includes Fargo, Indianapolis, Clinton with strong safety and cost-control focus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Viewpoint and Construction Software techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet management staff in procurement, scheduling and asset management.
• Write and implement policies and SOPs for fleet management.
• Promote and comply with all company safety policies.
• Provide financial analysis on equipment fleet and advise on CapEx purchases.
• Negotiate with vendors to rent, lease or purchase equipment.
• Forecast needs with project teams and maximize fleet utilization.
• Review invoices, POs and quotes related to rental and purchase.
• Enter vendor agreements and POs using Wanzek procurement processes.
• Collect data from multiple sources to evaluate fleet health.
• Oversee telematics system and generate usage reports.
• Support estimating teams with rate adjustments.
• Manage annual CapEx budget for the Equipment Department.
