Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years accounting or finance experience.
• Fixed Assets or Capital Spending experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and general ledger systems is required.
• Oracle and General Ledger experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or capital-intensive industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, record, and track fixed asset spending in compliance with company policy.
• Monitor construction in progress activity and related accounts; collaborate with engineers and managers to ensure accuracy.
• Capitalize expenditures and record asset acquisitions and dispositions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledgers to the general ledger and support lease accounting and property tax reporting.
