Job summary

Woodland Community College, part of the Yuba Community College District, seeks an equity-minded Fiscal Analyst to manage complex accounting duties and support college operations.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, reporting, and grants administration with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with laws and district policies while collaborating with the Director of Fiscal Services and College President.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business; six years accounting/budget experience.
• Experience with college budgets, grants and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review annual general fund and categorical budgets.
• Analyze budget transfers for accuracy and validity.
• Prepare budget projections and maintain position control data.
• Prepare federal/state/local reports and maintain grant accounting records.
• Produce monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial and budget reports for management.
• Provide high-level financial analysis and ad hoc reports as needed.
