Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field plus coursework in auditing techniques and standards.
• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in professional accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional accounting and auditing work in accordance with legal requirements and GAAP.
• Coordinate and provide technical expertise to administrators in the development and control of accounts.
• Prepare and develop annual budgets for categorical programs and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare federal, state and local reports for categorically-funded accounts and grants.
• Reconcile general ledgers to budgeted amounts and maintain computerized subsidiary accounting systems.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for Foundation accounts and related funds.
