Job summary

Oregon Health Authority is seeking a skilled Fiscal Analyst to provide financial guidance and strategic budgeting for Oregon State Hospital, Salem Campus. You will analyze budgets, monitor spending, forecast costs, and support contract reviews and reporting.

This role collaborates with senior analysts to develop policy improvements ensuring compliance with state procedures. The position emphasizes analytical rigor, experience with Power BI and Excel, and familiarity with government and hospital

Qualifications

Five years of progressively responsible experience in budget or fiscal system administration, OR
Five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis with budgeting experience, OR
Completion of the DAS Budget and Management Public Administrative Trainee Program. A related degree may substitute for three to four years of experience.

Responsibilities

Provide financial guidance to hospital leadership through fiscal and policy analysis.
Support contract review, position management analysis, fiscal reporting, budget development and system improvements.
Monitor, control and forecast financial activity across OSH for ~3,000 positions; influence resource allocation and contracting decisions.
Collaborate with senior fiscal analysts to develop policy improvements that strengthen financial management and budgeting.
