FreshDirect is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls. This role partners with the CFO and executive team to drive growth, efficiency, and data‑driven decision making across a high‑growth operations business.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years in accounting, 3+ years in a Controller role, deep US GAAP knowledge, and hands‑on ERP experience (NetSuite or similar) with advanced Excel skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 3+ years in a Controller or leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong systems experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP; advanced Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Lead the accounting organization with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close in line with US GAAP.
• Partner with CFO and cross‑functional leaders on budgeting and forecasting.
• Strengthen internal controls and oversee audit and regulatory filings.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and optimize ERP systems.
• Manage external auditors and tax advisors and ensure timely filings.
• Establish policies and scalable processes for long‑term growth.
