The Senior Controller will oversee the client’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and financial planning processes while serving as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
This is a leadership role responsible for helping implement the CEO’s vision and supporting the strategic direction set by the private equity ownership group. The Senior Controller will play a critical role in improving financial visibility, strengthening cash management, modeling EBITDA performance, and building dashboards that support better operational decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the CEO and private equity partners
- Lead the company’s accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP standards
- Develop executive‑level financial dashboards to provide visibility into revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, and cost performance
- Build financial models and forecasting tools to support EBITDA growth initiatives
- Implement and manage a 13‑week cash flow forecasting model
- Support leadership in cost management initiatives, including restructuring‑related cost analysis
- Help determine the optimal balance of customer revenue streams to support profitability and growth
- Partner with operations and the large sales organization to improve financial decision‑making
- Manage and analyze deferred revenue, helping leadership understand its financial and operational implications
- Oversee internal controls, financial policies, and compliance procedures
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Work closely with external auditors, banks, and financial partners
- Drive financial system improvements and maximize the value of NetSuite
- Provide financial insights and strategic analysis to support company growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA strongly preferred
- Strong GAAP accounting experience required
- Proven experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Leader
- Service industry experience is required
- Strong experience managing accounting operations and financial reportin
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
- Experience building financial dashboards and performance reporting tools
- Strong understanding of EBITDA modeling and financial forecasting
- Experience managing deferred revenue and complex revenue
