Job summary

Leaderpromos Marketing Agency is seeking a Financial Controller to optimize financial performance and lead accounting operations. You will manage the finance team, ensure accurate records, and handle risk, compliance, reporting, analysis, forecasting, and audits.

This role focuses on improving internal controls, guiding financial strategy, and supporting organizational growth with strong numerical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience with supervisory exposure.
• Familiarity with GAAP and state regulations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and inventory management.
• High integrity, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Accounting Team while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Preparation and review of period end financial statements.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and projections.
• Analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Direct transactional processing and post journal entries (Payroll, Work Comp, Inventory).
• Assist in annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Coordinate audits and tax returns with outside CPA firm.
• Maintain corporate records and staff development; recruit and train personnel.
• Schedule and assign work, monitor results, and ensure confidentiality.
