Job summary

Skywire Networks seeks a Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. The role ensures GAAP-compliant statements, timely closes, and reliable information for leadership, auditors, and regulators.

This leader partners with FP&A, Operations, and external auditors to scale finance, implement policy, and drive scalable processes as the company grows. The position requires CPA and 7+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA/CA required.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, 3+ in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in GAAP.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and schedules.
• Ensure revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, and reserves accuracy.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary auditor liaison.
• Lead and develop the accounting team; establish roles and expectations.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, Legal, and HR on financial implications.
