Steadfast Alliance in San Antonio, FL seeks a Financial Controller to lead the accounting function and strengthen financial discipline aligned with growth. You will own the close process, financial reporting, and internal controls while coaching a high-performing team.

The role reports to the CFO and partners with operations to enhance profitability and cash flow. A CPA and multi-division experience are preferred for this senior, strategic position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Eight+ years progressive accounting experience including 3+ years as Controller/Accounting Manager.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and external audit experience.
• Construction/contracting or project-based accounting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to improve accounting processes and reporting.
• Experience mentoring accounting staff and leading teams.

Aufgaben

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate financial statements.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, and payroll accounting.
• Set standards for reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation.
• Ensure fully supported balance sheet and documented accounting judgments.
• Deliver GAAP-compliant reporting and consolidated/divisional insights.
• Own job-cost accounting, revenue recognition, and WIP reporting where applicable.
• Improve cash flow visibility and manage receivables/payables processes.
• Lead internal controls, audits, and compliance with external regulators.
