Job summary

CBES in Burlington, MA is seeking a Financial Controller to lead corporate accounting, reporting, and cost analysis. This hybrid role oversees a small team and partners with the VP of Finance to ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements and timely management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with leadership.
• 3+ years’ experience managing a team in B2B construction/engineering or service environment.
• Experience with CMiC or construction ERP software is preferred.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations for the company.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and payroll/sales tax support.
• Lead intercompany transactions and monthly/quarterly reporting.
