Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is assisting a high-growth, PE-backed consumer products organization in Burlington, MA to fill a Senior Director, Corporate Controller role. You will lead global accounting operations, oversee the month-end close, and partner with executive leadership and investors.

This position requires a CPA, Big 4 background, and proven leadership in manufacturing/CPG environments. Hybrid work arrangement in the Greater Boston area with strong potential for equity

Qualifications

• CPA required; public accounting foundation (Big 4 preferred)
• Progressive experience in Accounting leadership (Controller / Director-level)
• Background in manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments; CPG experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating within global organizations and leading international teams
• Exposure to mid-to-large scale companies (beyond early-stage / small revenue environments)
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and investors

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cash management, and working capital
• Own the month-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership to deliver clear insights on financial performance and key variances
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and scalable infrastructure
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Support interactions with lenders, board, and private equity stakeholders
