Job summary

SPS North America Inc. seeks a Financial Controller to oversee controllership activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for one business line from its New York operations. The role partners with Finance, Operations and Sales to drive forecasts, margins and operational improvements.

The successful candidate will manage a monthly close, provide business insights, and lead process enhancements while building strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus.
• Approximately 5–7+ years in accounting/finance with controllership experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, P&L analysis, forecasting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L and forecasting for the assigned business line.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial reports, identify trends and communicate findings.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes and timelines.
• Provide financial analysis on contracts, revenue, costs and profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools.
• Strengthen financial controls and drive process improvements.
