Frequentis USA Inc. seeks a skilled Project Controller/Finance Analyst to lead project controlling, forecasting, and annual budgeting within a U.S. government contracting environment.

The role requires strong Excel and FP&A skills, plus EVMS familiarity, to ensure accurate revenue recognition and monthly closings. You will monitor budgets, cash flows, and reporting, working with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and timely financial insights for management decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field
  • Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis of business procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (is a must) and strong skills with Microsoft Office applications
  • Program Finance Cost Control experience preferred
  • Experience in the U.S. Government Contracting and preferably in Technology (Project Business) Environment
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and their application to the program including EVMS Metrics and reporting is a plus
  • Familiarity with reporting, business Intelligence tooling, database/ warehouse skills and analysis tools (SQL, Excel, SAP, Deltek, Cobra or similar)
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize, being able to work under pressure and deal with deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct project controlling, forecasting and annual budgeting in a U.S. Government contracting environment
  • Revenue recognition and monthly closeout activities
  • Reconcile and maintain accurate financial data to support monthly closing
  • Monitor, plan, forecast and consolidate budgets and cash flows
  • Identify trends and report to management to support profitability
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for management reviews
  • Compile and analyze financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Administrative coordinator for company expense database
  • Develop and enhance financial reporting tools to track revenue and project costs
  • Apply accounting principles to prepare financial reports
