Barrington James is seeking a Financial Analyst to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to guide operational and strategic decisions. You will build financial models, identify trends, and deliver clear insights to leadership.

The role involves partnering with manufacturing, commercial, quality, and supply chain teams, using both traditional tools and AI to accelerate analysis. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, trend analysis, benchmarking, and reporting preferred.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or healthcare experience preferred.
• CPA helpful but not required.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
• Experience with ERP and computerized accounting systems.
• Experience using AI tools to support financial or data analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and consultative support to business leaders.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and growth.
• Analyze cost, margins, and inventory across operations; document drivers and recommendations.
• Prepare reports and presentations turning financial data into actionable information.
• Participate in benchmarking, trend analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Identify process improvements for reporting and efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and move projects forward.
• Utilize technology and analytical tools to speed up analysis.
