Job summary

Anchor Bay Powder Coat is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own key financial processes and provide data-driven insights for senior leadership. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team, partnering with operations and the shop floor, using Claude AI, advanced Excel, and QuickBooks Online to eliminate manual processes and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance.
• Experience with Claude and other AI tools for analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership and capital partners, translating results into clear insights and recommendations.
• Actively manage cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and day-to-day accounting needs; proactively address aged receivables and establish consistent payment terms with customers and suppliers.
• Assess product/service offerings and pricing strategies; deliver data-driven recommendations that improve margins and overall profitability.
• Use Claude and other AI tools, Excel, and QuickBooks Online to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, identify trends, and digitize finance processes (goal of eliminating paper-based workflows).
• Manage the company credit card program, including policies, limits, and timely expense reporting.
• Partner with the team on the manufacturing floor and across the organization to understand operations, support root-cause problem solving, and help reduce lead times.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality while communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
