Job summary

The position supports forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic financial planning for units within the APUI portfolio, including regular liaison with enrollment management and policy interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with budget preparation, financial reporting, forecasting and planning.
• Familiarity with UD accounting system, PeopleSoft financials, and UD policies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze statistical and financial data and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise the Vice Provost for Academic Programs and University Initiatives on fiscal, space, and procurement matters.
• Manage the daily financial operations of units in the portfolio, with the exception of Enrollment Management.
• Coordinate with the business administrator in Enrollment Management to ensure alignment with portfolio goals and financial objectives.
• Prepare and administer accounts and budgetary matters related to appointments and salary.
• Monitor expenditures, perform analyses, provide projections, and process requisitions.
• Oversee the budgets of all units in the portfolio, including basic budgets and endowments.
