Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Illinois is seeking an accomplished Finance Controller to lead P&L, working capital and liquidity for a strategically important manufacturing unit. You will ensure data availability for decision making and help drive the country/cluster strategy.

You will oversee forecasts, risk/opportunity assessment, and ensure compliance with financial and legal guidelines, while guiding project and performance management across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive business controlling experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least 3 years of proven leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, product costing, process modeling, and evaluating the impact of business decisions on KPIs.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite; experience leveraging AI tools and technologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of operational processes.
• Previous sales or commercial finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the P&L, working capital and liquidity management for an entity with high strategic relevance.
• Ensure availability and analysis of all data/information necessary for sound decision making and contribute to setting and driving the country/cluster overall strategy .
• Continuously monitor the performance, evaluate risks and opportunities to ensure the country/cluster stays on track to deliver financial results, including Profit, WC and Cash.
• Provide predictable plans and forecasts for the region.
• Ensure all local practices in the business unit are fully in line with financial, legal, and guiding principles.
• Lead preparation of OP incl. simulations with a holistic view on all aspects of the P&L, balance sheet and liquidity.
• Manage local and corporate projects.
