Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Five years of related accounting or business experience, including two years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and higher education accounting and reporting requirements is implied by role.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares budgets and financial reports for grants, general appropriations, endowments, and other funds.
• Responsible for the overall planning and direction of an organizational unit.
• Oversees management of general appropriation, endowment, federal and non-federal grants and contracts, and gift funds.
• Manages and improves business processes and operations to align with the mission and strategic plan.
• Identifies short-term and strategic goals with resource allocation to meet priorities.
• Controls expenditures and statements of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal integrity.
• Directs special projects, including space renovations, staffing, and equipment purchases.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
