Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a Manager of Finance and Operations for the Herberger Institute’s Los Angeles area operations. The role partners with campus leadership to budget, forecast, and report financial activity, oversee procurement and payroll, and coordinate HR processes for LA and Phoenix locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in higher education is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday, Adaptive Planning, Concur, and PeopleSoft is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial and administrative reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and annual budget submissions for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate procurement, payroll actions, scholarship management, and HR processes in accordance with policy.
• Manage fiscal transactions across multiple campuses, including reporting and reconciliations.
• Lead staff supervision and training and ensure compliance with ASU policies.
