Job summary

SUNY Corning Community College (CCC) is seeking a Vice President of Administration and CFO to lead financial, IT, facilities, and auxiliary services. The role reports to the President and supports the Board of Trustees with budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning.

The executive leadership position requires strong financial acumen, partnering with the President and senior leaders to advance CCC’s mission and community impact. Occasional travel to CCC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting or related field with 5+ years of management experience in accounting, budgeting, or FP&A; or equivalent
• Demonstrated financial management experience, preferably in higher education; familiarity with enterprise systems (Banner preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership and actions

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the College budget and control expenditures
• Act as financial advisor to the President and Board of Trustees
• Provide financial reports to the Board and leadership
• Monitor reserve funds and ensure fiscal health
• Ensure internal controls, audits, and financial compliance
• Oversee insurance, risk management and cost evaluations
• Oversee facilities, infrastructure, and technology planning
• Manage public-private partnerships and space utilization
• Represent the College to external stakeholders and officials
• Participate in leadership teams and college committees
• Support transparency and data-driven decision making
