Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree, CPA designation, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, business operations, or related leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversight for business operations and affiliated entities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on financial performance, organizational effectiveness, operational improvements, and business strategy.
• Develop, implement, and enhance business policies, procedures, and operational practices that support organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and partner with departmental leaders to ensure effective resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Lead operational reviews, process improvement efforts, organizational research, and strategic projects as assigned by executive leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, dues billing, cash management, and related financial transaction processes.
• Review monthly and annual financial statements, analyze financial results, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Coordinate month-end accounting activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes with external accounting partners.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop executive-level financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations to support informed decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis, revenue projections, expenditure forecasting, and year-end financial planning activities.
• Support executive leadership in cash flow management and financial planning initiatives.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract administration, RFP and RFQ processes, and service provider performance management.
• Support annual audits, financial reviews, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls, records management practices, and financial accountability processes.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations to the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee.
• Lead, manage, and develop assigned staff, contractors, and service providers while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
