Maycomb Capital is seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the management company and multiple fund entities. You will oversee treasury operations, financial controls, and reporting, partnering with external service providers to strengthen infrastructure.

The role demands strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a lean environment, with senior leadership collaboration and a focus on scalable processes for growth and impact

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in private equity, private credit, or investment management.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Experience managing a team.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Experience coordinating audits, tax filings, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for management company and funds.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial performance analysis.
• Oversee treasury operations including banking relationships and controls.
• Coordinate quarterly investor reporting and collaborate with fund administrators.
• Design scalable processes and internal controls to support growth.
