Job summary

Annex Wealth Management is seeking a Director of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and daily financial operations while supporting M&A and guiding the finance team. This role partners with executive leadership to provide decision support and scale finance capabilities with growth.

The candidate will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial systems improvements, strengthening accuracy and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in finance or related field required.
• 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate variances and provide insights.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the firm’s financial strategy.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate financial insights into business decisions.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and allocation strategies.
• Serve as primary financial liaison to auditors, banking partners, and tax advisors.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Finance team.
