Job summary

ANELLO is a hardware company delivering advanced navigation tech with government contracts. We seek a hands-on Director of Finance and Operations to own accounting, FP&A, and strategic finance in Santa Clara.

You will partner with leadership to improve profitability and cash efficiency while managing external accounting relationships. The role covers forecasting, financial modeling, cost analysis, and liaison with contract manufacturers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years in finance and accounting or similar FinOps roles.
• Experience owning monthly close and financial reporting.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and ability to build financial models.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with external CPA firm oversight.
• Prepare financial planning, forecasting, and variance analyses for leadership.
• Develop dynamic financial models for margins, BOM, COGS, and supply chain costs.
• Monitor SBIR/government contract costs, invoicing, and compliance requirements.
• Provide strategic advisory on capital allocation, CapEx, and profitability.
• Ensure accurate financial data transfer between internal teams and providers.
