Job summary

Andela is seeking a Director of FP&A to shape planning, investing, and decision-making as we scale. This role blends analytics, strong business judgment, and storytelling to help the executive team navigate complexity and tradeoffs with confidence.

You will own the company’s financial planning engine end-to-end and operate as a deeply embedded partner to leaders across the company. This is a steady, proactive operator role with clear accountability and impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional storyteller who distills complex analyses for executives and board audiences.
• Experience influencing across levels without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate financial model, including full three-statement build and scenario planning.
• Lead end-to-end planning cycles (AOP, rolling forecasts, long-range plan) from process to templates and board approval.
• Own the monthly business review to diagnose financial health and guide decisions.
• Build capital allocation and investment frameworks for growth initiatives with disciplined finance.
• Build unit economics, cohort analyses, and scenario analyses to inform strategy.
• Partner with GTM, Data, and RevOps on revenue forecasting and risk identification.
• Prepare investor-ready narratives linking performance to strategy.
• Manage one Finance Business Partner.
