Infinite Machine is seeking a Director of Finance & Business Operations to own finance, accounting, HR, legal, facilities, and reporting. This senior, hands-on role reports to the CEO and guides finance and operations as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or strategy at a venture-backed company.
• Experience in hardware/consumer products with physical inventory and overseas manufacturing.
• Strong financial modeling skills with working knowledge of GAAP, monthly close, and audits.
• Direct experience on equity or debt fundraising from modeling to diligence to close.
• Experience managing outside counsel, accountants, and advisors.
• Working knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and benefits in a small company.
• Clear writing and ability to explain numbers to non-finance teammates.
• Comfort taking ownership, making decisions, and solving problems in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable with AI-enabled tools and processes.

Responsabilités

• Own financial planning and analysis, including the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range cash flow model.
• Manage cash, runway, and working capital, focusing on supplier terms, landed cost, and duties.
• Partner with vehicle operations on inventory planning, purchasing, and cost tracking.
• Oversee accounting and monthly close, whether in-house or via external firm, and own audit, tax, and sales tax compliance.
• Support equity and debt fundraising by building models, preparing investor materials, maintaining the data room, and due diligence.
• Manage the cap table, 409A valuations, option grants, and board/investor reporting.
• Run HR operations: payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, compensation planning, and employment compliance across states.
• Manage outside counsel, accountants, and advisors; know when to bring them in.
• Oversee facilities, leases, insurance, vendors, and workplace safety in partnership with operations.
• Build reporting on sales, inventory, unit economics, and operating metrics with dashboards for decision-making.
• Partner with the CEO on special projects, board prep, priorities, and operating cadence.
• Put scalable systems and processes in place to support growth without overhead.
