Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is seeking a Finance Manager for Transportation and Warehousing to lead the financial partnership with leadership and deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

You will build and guide a finance team to drive financial performance and implement process improvements across reporting and controls. You will oversee monthly forecasting, budgeting, and the AOP process, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and leverage

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
MBA, CPA, CMA or similar certification preferred.
5+ years in progressive finance leadership assignments including people management.
Experience building and developing a high-performing finance team.
Strong familiarity with financial IT systems, ERP (SAP) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead a finance team to deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
Partner with Transportation and Warehousing leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.
Manage monthly Forecast and Reporting processes and the AOP.
Summarize and communicate financial results clearly to stakeholders.
Drive process improvements in financial reporting and controls.
Provide financial and capital analysis for strategic projects and initiatives.
Support alignment of Transportation and Warehousing objectives with company goals.
Lead ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency and financial performance.
