Job description

Finance Manager, Transportation and Warehousing leads the financial partnership with Transportation and Warehousing leadership, providing strategic analysis and insights that support business decisions and drive financial performance. This role is responsible for developing and leading a finance team that delivers accurate forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis through the monthly and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes. The position supports both strategic and tactical decision-making by ensuring high-quality financial analysis, strong management controls, and operational oversight. Additionally, the Finance Manager drives process and systems improvements to enhance financial reporting, efficiency, and overall business results.

Why This Role Matters
  • Drive strategic supply chain and transportation performance by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and enhance business performance through data-driven insights.
  • Own forecasting, performance analysis, and financial reconciliation processes, leveraging SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI to improve visibility into daily performance, strengthen forecast accuracy, and support informed decision-making.
  • Influence business outcomes through executive-level reporting and presentations, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences across manufacturing, supply chain, and regional leadership teams.
  • Support strategic business goals and team development by building strong stakeholder relationships, challenging the status quo, and helping create a high-impact, collaborative "One Team" culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you’ll do
  • Develop team members to build bench strength for the Finance Organization (including training of personnel and development of professionals within the business for key Finance roles). Ensure a strong Performance Management Process that aligns individual objectives with business metrics and connects performance against objectives.
  • Manage the monthly Forecast and Reporting Process. Understand and have an ability to summarize and communicate clearly the financial results (Transportation and Warehousing) that measure progress against objectives and assess the effectiveness of decisions made.
  • Be an integral part of strategic business decisions around Transportation and Warehousing Projects. Provide financial and capital analysis reviews in support of strategic projects.
  • Manage the AOP Process - Ensuring alignment across the Transportation and Warehousing Teams to achieve company goals.
  • Lead and participate in other ad-hoc projects that support process improvements (pertaining to financial analysis and reporting).
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business (related field), Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Desired master’s degree or certifications (i.e. MBA, CPA, CMA).
  • 5 or more years of experience in progressively more responsible Finance Leadership Assignments (including experience managing or leading people).
  • Experienced in supporting a high performing Finance Team - Developing talent for the organization as evidenced by advancement and success of Team Members.
  • Technical and working experience with Financial IT Systems (from a detailed to consolidation perspective).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding in relevant systems (i.e. MS Office Suite, ERP Systems [SAP], Reporting Applications [Hyperion]).
  • Able to analyze and grasp a situation quickly from different perspectives and create well-reasoned situations. Innately comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Understanding of Business Operations.
