Job summary

Steno is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to drive forecasting, reporting, and financial planning in a remote-first environment. You will own significant FP&A workstreams, influence cross-functional decisions, and partner with leadership to translate analyses into actionable strategies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in investment banking, consulting, or advisory roles, plus hands-on financial modeling and experience in SaaS or marketplace settings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or transaction advisory.
• Hands-on experience building financial models from scratch.
• Experience in SaaS, legal tech, or marketplace businesses is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful pieces of the FP&A cycle and develop the narrative behind the numbers.
• Grow the scope of the role over time and be a thought partner to leadership.
• Run cross-functional analyses end-to-end and build models leadership relies on for decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product to diagnose what’s happening upstream and tie it back to revenue.
