Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking a strategic Finance Manager to report to the CFO, managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The role partners with operational leadership to ensure accuracy and drive strategic initiatives.

Hybrid work in Dublin, OH with remote options based on qualifications. The candidate will lead the budgeting process, prepare financial statements, and develop dashboards, leveraging Power BI and Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to leaders across the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to the CFO, providing financial analysis and decision support.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reporting packages.
• Lead the annual budget process, periodic forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop dashboards and key performance indicators to support leadership decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and assist the CFO with financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with operational leaders across the organization to support financial planning and performance.
• Serve as a backup resource for the CFO on key financial matters as needed.
